So, the plein air painting gig went, well, ok.... It was fun. I was super worried that I would not finish in time, lol. It was close, but I had about 45 mins to spare. I didn't really sell anything else I brought with me, but the carousel painting, of which half of the proceeds went to the Every Breath charity, made the buyer very very happy. She was actually one of the other artists at the event and she has a loved one (big sister) dying of cancer. She purchased the painting as a special keepsake to remind herself of her sister after she passes. It was sad, she was crying and saying thank you and I was about to cry because it was so sad, lol. I'm sure we made a picture.
Terry - I wish you the utmost joy and happiness in the time that you have with your sister, so the memories will sustain you when she's gone.
